Big Changes Coming to East Boynton: New Shops, Restaurants, and Apartments Planned
Heart of Boynton Village: What’s Going In, Where It Is, and When It’s Finally Opening
The new Heart of Boynton Village Shops in East Boynton will house eight new businesses. With a cafe, urgent care center, a dental office, two restaurants, and professional spaces, it will add a much needed boost to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Located at 137 NE 10th Avenue in East Boynton, the project also includes 124 additional apartments named the Heart of Boynton Village. The project is sponsored by the BBCRA who purchased the land 14 years ago in anticipation of this much needed project. There have been some recent delays with the developer, but the city is hopeful for completion in early 2026.
Heads Up, Boynton! This I-95 South Exit Is About to Get Messy
Starting Sunday evening, January 4, the I-95 southbound exit at Boynton Beach Blvd will shift to a new traffic pattern as bridge repairs begin. During this phase, expect a stop-at-the-light setup. The inside westbound lane over the railroad tracks will be closed, and lane shifts will continue through early spring as the widening project moves forward. Plan for delays and give yourself extra time.
