Massive Makeover Underway On One Of Boynton’s Busiest Roads
The City of Boynton Beach is continuing beautification efforts along South Federal Highway with new landscaping, upgraded medians, fresh plantings, and improved maintenance. The goal is to give one of the city’s busiest corridors a cleaner, more tropical appearance while creating a better first impression for residents, visitors, and local businesses traveling between downtown and the Intracoastal area. We, at the Boynton Weekly, sincerely appreciate the city taking action to make it more attractive.
🤔 Did You Know?
The early women of Boynton Beach were more than pioneers - they were mothers raising children under extraordinary hardship. In the late 1800s, they navigated isolation, scarce medical care, and the absence of formal schools, all while helping build the foundations of a permanent community. They maintained households, tended crops, educated their children, and held the town together when it was most fragile. Motherhood in early Boynton wasn't simply a family role - it was essential to our survival. This Mother's Day, let us honor their enduring contributions.
