Major Makeover Incoming: The Most Important Corner in Boynton Beach Just Got Cleared
$8 Million for 2 Acres: Boynton Beach Buys Prime I-95 Land - Here’s Why It Matters
The parcel located at Boynton Beach Blvd and I-95, formerly The Inn at Boynton Beach, has been demolished and the land cleared to make way for a new project funded by the Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency. The two-acre location, considered a “gateway location “ to the city, was purchased last fall for $8 million dollars by the BBCRA.
Boynton Beach city officials say the goal is to create a new and enticing entrance to the downtown area. The timing is perfect with the upgraded infrastructure already underway at that intersection. Detailed plans for the parcel are still being finalized, but the hope is that progress will continue to move forward for a well-needed makeover.
